Grind and Grit are the cornerstones of DOntquIT. Through his unique journey and immense experience, Doug Wiggins is able to offer an elite basketball skills training program that instills a never quit mindset; the major key to success both on and off the court. Making mistakes and fighting through obstacles are part of the learning process. Wiggins fosters development through advanced training methods and detailed constructive feedback. But additionally, Wiggins is able to use his in depth personal experiences along his harried path from collegiate athlete to professional basketball player to offer insight in areas other trainers cannot. Wiggins is an open book and all of his clients have access to the pages.

About Me

Teach It From Experience 

Doug Wiggins is one of the most accomplished basketball players to ever come out of the richly talented Central Connecticut region. In high school Wiggins earned the honor of being named a top 50 player in the NATION and received Connecticut Gatorade Player of the year. He played in the Michael Jordan all star game as well as participated in the famous ABCD camp and NBA top 100 camp. At the ABCD camp he was named one of the MVP’s of the All Star game. Wiggins earned a full scholarship to UCONN where he played two years under Hall of Fame Coach Jim Calhoun. Wiggins went on to play at Mountain State where he lead them to the NAIA National Championship and received 2nd team all American. He currently plays professionally overseas where he has won multiple championships and personal awards.

DOntquIT offers a variety of workouts for Boys and Girls ages 9 and up. We cater to all skill levels. If you’re looking to improve your game and take it to the next level, you can find the support and resources you need right here. Additionally, I personally consult with every single client to understand each one’s unique goals on and off the court. Because at DOntquIT, every athlete matters.

Fundamental and Elite Basketball Skill Training

Play against the game of basketball! No matter your talent level, this is where you can develop to become elite. Individual, small group, or team training available. It all begins with being fundamentally sound in ball handling, shooting, and footwork. Then enjoy the process of developing the elite skills of pick and roll, finishing at the rim, creative dribble combinations, shot creation, and offense and defense IQ. Be ready to play at the next level.

Strength and Conditioning/Speed and Agility

The body is a machine! If you treat it well it will be good to you. Our strength and conditioning program is geared towards helping athletes become stronger, quicker and faster! We build muscle to help out perform our competitors and boost athletic performance on and off the court. Cardio and endurance training is incorporated into every workout as well. With a regular strength training program you can also reduce risk of injury!
